Inhumane: Anupam Mittal criticizes IndiGo on flight delay, no refund; Airline issues apology
Shaadi.com CEO Anupam Mittal has recently voiced his dissatisfaction with IndiGo Airlines, slamming the carrier for what he perceives as "inhumane" treatment of passengers. Mittal, also a judge on 'Shark Tank India', highlighted significant delays experienced on two separate flights, drawing attention to issues such as a lack of air conditioning and a failure to offer ticket refunds.Flight Delays Prompt OutcryIn a post shared on social media platform X, Mittal recounted his ordeal aboard an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Mumbai, which was delayed by more than 45 minutes while passengers were left sitting on the tarmac without air conditioning, ostensibly to cut costs. He further detailed a delay of over two hours on his return flight from Mumbai to Delhi, where passengers were not provided with any recourse for the inconvenience.

"Mr Mittal, we extend our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by the delay of your morning flight from Mumbai, which was inadvertently delayed by 30 minutes due to unforeseen traffic congestion," IndiGo said. "Additionally, we regret to inform you that the delay on the Delhi-Mumbai route resulted from an unexpected medical emergency on the incoming flight. Please rest assured that we understand the importance of your time and the impact such delays can have on your travel plans. We genuinely regret the inconvenience this would have caused," IndiGo added.
